A native San Diegan, Greg started wrestling in the 8th grade. He was a High School League Champ, a CIF champ, and a state qualifier. He started Jiu Jitsu in 1999 with Fabio Santos where he met and trained with two time world Champion Dean “The Boogieman” Lister. He later received his “Dean Lister” black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and was a featured fighter on the ‘TAPOUT’ television show. He is now under contract with the WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting). His fight record in the WEC is currently 5 wins and 4 losses. Greg is an x-ray technician at Sharp Memorial Hospital. And when he isn’t training at Victory MMA for an upcoming WEC fight, he teaches wrestling and offers private training to students wishing to improve their MMA skills.
